Someday, we’ll forget the hurt, the reason we cried and who caused us pain. We will finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge, but letting things unfold in their own way and own time. After all, what matters is not the first, but the last chapter of our life which shows how well we ran the race. So smile, laugh, forgive, believe, and love all over again.

United States Postal Service. WE CARE??????

My Pottery Barn catalog is wrapped in a plastic bag from the post office explaining that even though they care, they damaged my mail.

I wonder if the Post Office had just called Pottery Barn and had a new catalog shipped to me, how much money they would have saved in personnel costs. And although I appreciate what one postal service employee attempted to do, I think with the huge operating fees deficit facing the PO, that this taping project was a waste of time. A catalogue isn't much good if you can't read it and if the pages are ripped in half!

I have had these types of apologies from the post office before. Usually the damage is minimal and I don't have any problems. This time, however, my Pottery Barn catalogue was ripped beyond use.

Although they tried to gallantly repair the damages with hundreds of strips of scotch tape, outside and inside pages were taped and I guess they didn't notice that they taped it completely closed.

And if Pottery Barn happens to read this blog, I could use a new August 2013 catalog.
